Hardmoors 55 Trail Ultra

The Hardmoors 55 on 21 March 2026 is a 55 mile trail ultra from Guisborough to Helmsley in Yorkshire.

The point-to-point route follows the beautiful Cleveland Way towards Helmsley and passes over the crest of the North York Moors and the Cleveland Hills taking in Roseberry Topping and the ‘Three Sisters’ before reaching the finish at the Market town of Helmsley.

Competitors have 16 hours to complete the 55 miles. The event can be run as a relay in teams of 2-4 runners. It is up to the team to decide how far each team member runs, but one team member must check in at each checkpoint.

This is a cup-free event – bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
