Merrell Cannock Chase Challenge

The Merrell Cannock Chase Challenge on 16 May 2026 features three stunning trail runs within the breathtaking AONB of Cannock Chase.

Distances include 10km, Half Marathon and Marathon.

The Half Marathon (13.1 miles) is the only single-lap trail race of its kind on Cannock Chase. It’s 100% off-road, taking runners along twisting singletrack, peaceful fire roads, and hidden forest trails few ever get to explore.

Marathon (26.2 miles) entrants will complete 2 laps of the Half Marathon course. The Marathon distance can also be completed as a relay in a team of 2.

The 10km race is a fantastic introduction to trail running on a single, scenic lap course.
