IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton
IRONMAN 70.3 Bolton on 7 June 2026 is the first race of the 2026 IRONMAN England season.
70.3 stands for the total distance covered in miles during the event. It’s comprised of a 1.2 mile (1.9km) swim, 56 mile (90km) bike and 13.1 mile (21.1km) run. Exactly half the length of an Ironman.
The swim takes place in the sheltered waters of Pennington Flash Nature reserve. The bike leg offers spectacular scenery and some punchy climbs to keep it interesting. The run is in Bolton’s picturesque Queen’s Park, then heads through the historic Town Centre to the red-carpet finish line outside the iconic Town Hall.
