Abersoch Triathlon

The Menai Holiday Cottages Abersoch Triathlon on 20 June 2026 takes place in the stunning North Wales seaside town of Abersoch.

There are Olympic and Sprint distances to choose from, with exceptional courses that will both challenge and inspire you. Both can be completed solo or in a relay team of 2 – 3 members.

This event starts with a sea swim, in Abersoch’s sheltered bay, the bike route is a 20km lap for the sprint distance and 2 laps of the same course for the Olympic distance, closed off in sections to the traffic. The run takes in the unique terrain of part beach, part trail and part road, with both races boasting that picture-book finish on Abersoch beach.

Take on both Sprint and Olympic distances in the same day and earn the honours of the ‘Dual in the Crown’.

This race is part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series which includes the Abersoch 10K and the Abersoch Half Marathon.
