The Sunset Running Festival

Event Details

The Sunset Running Festival in Edinburgh includes a 6 Hour Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon, 7K and a 1K Kids’ Run.

The course is laps of a 7km route set along a flat, tarmac seaside promenade, offering sea views. With no hills or undulations, runners have an excellent chance of achieving personal bests.

There is a relay option in the Marathon distance with a minimum of 1 lap per runner.

Marathon finish times can also be used as a Good for Age qualifier for the London Marathon. The 6 Hour Ultra will run from 3pm to 9pm, creating a unique experience as the race moves from afternoon sunshine into a stunning coastal sunset.
