York Kids Fun Triathlon
The York Kids Fun Triathlon on 15 August 2026 is held the day before the York Triathlon.
This fun swim, bike, run triathlon event is designed for kids aged 5 – 16 years including a team relay option of 2-3 members. There are achievable distances for all abilities.
The swim leg is in the indoor poor at the York Sports Village, the bike course is on a cycle track and the run is around the velodrome.
All participants receive a UK Kids Fun Triathlon finishers medal.

Triathlon (Swim + Bike + Run):
5-7 yrs: 18m + 1K + 500m
6-9 yrs: 25m + 1K + 500m
8-11 yrs: 50m + 2K + 1K
10-13 yrs: 50m + 3K + 1.5K
12-15 yrs: 100m + 4K + 2K
13-16 yrs: 150m + 4K + 2.5K
All Ages Relay Team:
Zinc: 25m + 1K + 500m
Bronze: 50m + 3K + 1.5K
Gold: 150m + 4K + 2.5K
