Chester Marathon

Event Details

The MBNA Chester Marathon on 11 October 2026 is multi-award winning and three time winner of the UK’s Best Marathon award.

The event boasts a lively city centre start and finish, with a route that passes all Chester’s iconic landmarks, then heads out into the Cheshire & North Wales countryside, before returning along the banks of the River Dee for an unforgettable finish on Castle Drive.

Race day also includes the Chester Metric Marathon and is part of the Triple Chester Series which also includes the Chester 10K and Chester Half Marathon.
