Castle to Castle Ultra
The Castle to Castle Ultra on 18 July 2026 is a 36 mile multi-terrain ultramarathon from the historic Clitheroe Castle to the majestic Lancaster Castle.
The scenic course takes in the picturesque villages of the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland and Lancashire countryside. It also takes on four of the biggest climbs in Lancashire, Waddy Fell, Whin Brow, Trough Rd climb and Grit Fell/Clougha Pike.
Terrain is fell track/farm land, loose gravel paths, quiet country roads and some cycle paths.
This event is organised by the Fylde Coast Runners.
