Cholmondeley Castle Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K

The Cholmondeley Castle Marathon in Cheshire on 21 June 2026 also includes a 10km and half-marathon distance within an epic castle backdrop and a stunning location.

The running events form part of the Cholmondeley Castle Multisport Festival and this event is also part of the Castle Run Series.

Runners enjoy the fabulous private estate at Cholmondeley Castle providing runners of all abilities with the opportunity to enjoy an off-road, scenic and stunning course. Competitors in the Half Marathon and Marathon undertake laps of a 7km course within the beautiful estate grounds with stunning views of the Peckforton Hills. The 10K runners complete 2 laps of a 5K circuit. The course terrain is varied, comprising of track, tarmac and off-road.
