Forth Ultra & Team Relay

Event Details

The Forth Ultra on 25 April 2026 is a 44 mile / 71km circular ultra marathon around the Firth of Forth estuary.

This event can be run solo, or as a relay in teams of 2 or 4.

The relatively flat and fast course crosses 2 iconic Forth Bridges and connects two well-known Scottish trails – the Fife Coastal Path and the John Muir Way.

The terrain is approximately 85% tarmac road and 15% trail. It is a way-marked route (no navigation required).
