Morland ‘Marathon’ Trail Ultra
The Morland ‘Marathon’ on 6 March 2027 is a 30 mile, mixed-terrain Trail Ultra in Cumbria with 3000 feet of elevation.
The largely off-road route starts and finishes in the village of Morland, near Penrith and hugs the Pennines to the east and the Howgills to the South. It runs through the most beautiful undulating countryside in the Eden Valley and the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with stone circles, waterfalls, lower lying fells, cairns, meadows, and historic villages.
It is suitable for runners and walkers who can complete the course within the 12 hour cut off.
