Sturminster Newton Half Marathon

The Sturminster Newton Half Marathon (Stur Half) on 2 August 2026 takes place on country roads in and around Sturminster Newton, Dorset.

Starting in Station Road, the race goes through Manston, Margaret Marsh, Stour Row and Todber, returning through Moorside and Hinton to finish on the High School playing field.

As well as the Half Marathon, there is also the Stur 5K, a multi-terrain fun run and a children’s run on the school playing field. Entries for the 5km taken on the day.

The event is organised by The Dorset Doddlers and is part of the Dorset Road Race League.
