Summits Of The North York Moors Ultra
The Summits Of The North York Moors Ultra on 4 July 2026 is an approximately 120 mile trail run, starting and finishing in the village of Goathland, Whitby.
The circular route takes in the 10 highest hills on the North York Moors and takes in 14,000 ft of elevation. It passes ancient burial sites, medieval boundary stones, ancient crosses and Bronze Age earthworks. You will follow parts of the Cleveland Way, Esk Valley Walk and the Lyke Wake Walk, navigating around the course as part of a team of two or as a solo entrant.
Terrain is moorland tracks, drove roads, ancient trods and quiet country lanes.
