The Purbeck Marathon

The Purbeck Marathon on 20 September 2026 is on a scenic route that celebrates the beauty of the Dorset coast.

The course takes runners along the breathtaking Jurassic Coast, on stunning coastal path and through rolling hills, past castle ruins and history at every turn. It is challenging with steep climbs and rugged paths.

As well as the full Marathon, there is also a 16 mile distance.

This event is run by volunteers and raises funds for local charities.
