UK Ultra Dark Downs 50K & Half Marathon
The UK Ultra Dark Downs 50K on 3 October 2026 is a Dusk till Dawn loop in the South Downs, starting and finishing at Plumpton Racecourse in Lewes.
The race will start as the sun is setting, and runners/walkers will have 12 hours to complete it. Terrain is 95% trail and 5% road. There will be 4 aid stations and a fully marked course with very high visibility/reflective signage and Marshall’s out at regular intervals.
The Dark Downs Half Marathon is a beautiful route through the South Downs National Park. It is an achievable single loop trail race and a great option for first time trail runners.
